We believe that affordable housing and good design can, and should, coexist. At TightLines, our mission is to provide quality small house designs that fit a more modest budget. The TightLines collection of homes is a cut above conventional small home designs. TightLines houses deliver curb appeal, environmental sensitivity and livability in an efficient and affordable footprint. TightLines plans are in-stock and ready-to-build; from individual houses to full neighborhoods with well designed streetscapes.

Design Philosophy
True to our belief that affordable housing and good design can coexist, the first priority of the TightLines team is high quality design. Several core principals guide the development of the TightLines collection:

TightLines homes are designed to accommodate the furnishings and amenities that today’s families desire. We’ve thought it out, and maximized efficient design with real life in mind.

Standard Features
Every TightLines design offers a minimum standard set of features that we consider the basic formula for big living in a small house:

Spacious Front Porch
Two Exterior Entrances (front, plus side or rear)
Living Room with minimum two window walls
Separate Dining Area
Kitchen that opens to Living Areas
Minimum 3 Bedrooms / 2 Baths
Minimum Bedroom size of 100 square feet
Master Suite including private bathroom
Washer/Dryer Hook-ups
Coat Closet
